KLS Backup maintains a library which contains a history of backup jobs and the files of each backup run. The items of the library are called archives. An archive is created after every backup run. This feature offers a clear view over the backup set history, and allows you to keep track of file versions.

Each backup set (profile) has its own Archive Library. The Restore Wizard will help you to restore an archive. You can restore any archive listed in the Archive library.

However if the backup set (profile) is not available you will be required to use a different method to locate and restore an archive.

1. Restoring an archive using the External Archives tools

1.1. Use the Open Compressed Archive tool located under the File menu to open a compressed (zip, 7z) archive. This will launch the standard Restore Wizard.

1.2. Use the Browse External Archives tool located under the File menu to open a compressed, encrypted or folder archive. This tool allows you to browse the local and remote folders to locate archives.
